Money • Behavior • Principles
Restie Chavez writes about money, behavior, principles, and the things people sometimes don't notice until they're already paying for them.
The First Book I Wrote
It started with questions.
Questions about money.
About why people work so hard for it, yet sometimes lose it without realizing what's happening.
About the decisions people make before the money disappears.
The Observation
The more Restie observed people, businesses, buyers, sellers—and his own decisions—the more he noticed that losing money isn't always obvious.
Sometimes it looks like a normal decision.
Sometimes it looks like an opportunity.
Sometimes it even feels like the right thing to do.
The Question
Instead of only asking how to make more money, Restie became increasingly interested in another question:
What causes us to lose it?
That Became A Book
Money Lost! isn't a book promising to make you rich.
It isn't a formula for getting everything right.
And it doesn't promise that you'll never make another mistake.
It's an attempt to put into words what Restie has been observing—and the ideas he believes are worth examining before another mistake becomes expensive.
Restie's Approach
Restie isn't asking anyone to simply trust him.
He only wants to share the people, books, and experiences that shaped how he thinks about money—and the ideas he believes are worth trying.
Before The Book
Real work. Real questions. Real years of trying to figure things out.
Maybe You're Looking For Something Too
Maybe you've made a decision you're still thinking about.
Maybe you've noticed something doesn't quite add up.
Maybe nothing is wrong at all.
Or maybe there's something you haven't seen yet.
That's what Money Lost! was created for.
About Restie
Restie Chavez is a published Filipino author, entrepreneur, and consultant whose work has taken him through business, decision-making, and human behavior.
Over the years, he became increasingly curious not only about how people make money but about how they make decisions around it.
Money Lost! is one result of that curiosity.
Now in its 2nd Edition.
